“I have been in therapy for over 10 years. I have had a ‘bad’ relationship with food for 35 years. Growing up my parents were very focused on diet and exercise. I was the odd ball that lived for food and ‘hated’ to move; the unintentional result of their relationship with food was that I ‘over ate’ and had a very emotional, dependent relationship with food.
I would hide whilst eating ‘bad’ food, I would try every diet possible. I was miserable and just gained more and more weight as the time went by.
Since working with Jillian I am thoughtful about my behavior with food. I’m now able to trust myself when it comes to what foods to eat. I no longer see ‘good’ and ‘bad’ food.
If I crave a doughnut I am thoughtful about where and what flavor I want. When I get it I sit and eat it slowly, proud. Not stuffing it down quickly and hiding away any evidence of it. I have also begun to realize I don’t hate exercise. There is movement and activities I really enjoy.
Most importantly, and something that was never on my radar — I have made time for myself. I have started to say no to ‘obligations’ and put myself first. I am able to set time aside for myself to make sure I am okay and set up for success.
Working with Jillian for almost a year now, I can finally trust myself. I have a new love and belief in me! My weight is slowly lowering (it’s not easy), but I am so proud of myself because my habits have changed and my mindset has shifted, all for the better.
Last weekend I was talking to my friend, and she literally stated, "The best thing you ever did was start working with Jillian. The difference I've seen in you in that amount of time is huge.'"
She is right. The change is huge. It’s work, it’s tough, but it’s supported.
Weeks I feel I’ve made no progress only to meet with Jillian and leave the session understanding that actually I have achieved so much. I text her a small achievement and have someone to celebrate the little things with.
I can’t express my gratitude to Jillian. She has truly changed my life. She is such a supportive cheerleader that helps hold me accountable.
Working together has been the best step I could have taken to helping myself achieve what I thought was unachievable. For that I will never be able to thank her enough.”

“Before working with Jillian my biggest challenge was definitely my negative mindset and outlook on my body. I had a tendency to focus on my faults and compare myself to others, which was keeping me in a negative spiral.
Since working together, I started a workout routine that is sustainable! Thanks to Jillian’s ongoing support and helpful strategies, I was able to find a workout routine I enjoy and which now seamlessly integrates into my routine.
I started to shift my mindset around my body as I focused on my “wins” each week and acknowledging areas where I was growing. It became easier to do this as I was celebrating meeting my food and workout goals! I started understanding the unconscious beliefs and habits that were keeping in STUCK in unhelpful patterns.
Jillian has such a gentle approach and is so understanding and easy to talk to. She really approaches the work from a place of empathy and understanding, making me feel comfortable digging deep and doing this work.
This has made such an impact holistically because when I have a healthy routine, I maintain a healthier outlook on other areas of my life as well. As I adopted healthier habits and choices, my outlook and conscious decision to NOT repeat unhelpful patterns helped me feel better about myself, my progress, and my body.
If you feel stuck, discouraged, or overwhelmed when it comes to your health and wellness goals, or even if you are struggling to determine what those goals are, I strongly encourage you to work with Jillian! She understands this type of work needs to be gradual in order to be sustainable, and she’s the most kind hearted coach you could ask for. It’s so incredibly helpful to have a coach who both understands where you are coming from AND holds you accountable.”

“Working with you has helped me remember what’s important, and you’ve given me tools to lean into. The things we’ve talked about remind me to be present and take care of myself in a way that makes me feel good again. Good things carry over to others when I’m feeling healthy, valued, and accomplished — it’s a happier life for everyone.
These sessions have really helped me. Just giving the time for them is a big deal, because it matters. I’m proud that I’ve given myself the permission to take the time to do this and not feel guilty about it.
People might think ‘Oh, I can do it by myself,’ but sometimes you need tools and help along the way, and this keeps you accountable.”

“One thing I’ve taken to heart that you’ve said is I do think about it — I bought a jar of cookies which are my absolute favorite, but I deliberately moved them to a place that’s inconvenient so I have to really think about it.
Now when I want a cookie, I have to make a conscious decision to go get one. I notice I ask myself, ‘Do I really want that cookie right now?’ Sometimes yes I really do, but other times I go ‘No, but I think I could go for another snack.’
Before I never thought about the cookies, but now I make a conscious decision.”

Before I met Jillian, I was NOT moving. I was stressed and felt stagnant.
I also work from home and don't like the gym or trainer-type energy (like "Remember why you came today!!" — NOPE).
I've always had a weird relationship with exercise — it never came easily to me, I never felt the desire TO exercise, and I didn't really know how to start something and also trust that it was going to be something I kept with.
Since working together for the past year, I move a lot more now! I've found videos and types of exercise I enjoy and WANT to do, not to feel macho or anything, but to know I'm keeping my body healthy while I take on growing and managing my own business.
I definitely feel stronger — I'm lifting 10 lbs weights in the mornings and I think that impacts how I look at my OWN arms, legs and the overall strength and dignity I've given back to my body simply by moving it in new, regular and fun ways.
Now I feel less sluggish, which overall helps me feel more comfortable in my body. I wear my clothes with more confidence and feel better wearing my athleisure crop tops and tank tops tucked into my shorts or jeans.
I'm smarter about what I eat, why I eat, and specifically the role of sugar and caffeine in my life.
I feel exceptionally less stressed — and better equipped to manage my stress. Now I view exercise and movement more as a proactive way to manage my anxiety through movement, just like the anti-anxiety medicine I take every day that supports my brain.
I value my time spent exercising more. It's not a waste of time, it's an investment.

“I’m proud of the intentional mindfulness that goes into any of the actions I'm taking as a result of working with you so far. Basic things — like drinking more water and meal prepping — I’m much more conscious of now.
I don’t just let myself have a glass of wine or buy something or skip the workout without filtering it through a deliberate thought process first, which I never used to do. Now I ask myself, “why am I really wanting this?”
Motivating myself to do something in such a positive way, like with the mental rehearsal, has been so helpful.”

"When I first started working with Jillian almost a year ago, I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed with a new job, a toddler, and planning a wedding. I needed more structure and accountability to make time for exercise and stick to a healthier meal plan that didn't involve ordering so much takeout. I wanted to feel good about my body and confident again, as well as set a good example for my kids.
My biggest aha moment was when I realized that making time to workout in the mornings actually makes me a better mom — it makes me energetic, helps me be more patient, and also helps me do a better job at work. Working out doesn't feel so much like a chore anymore but something I WANT to do and look forward to.
I'm cooking more at home and eating healthy but not burrowing my self worth in whether or not I've eaten perfectly anymore. This has shown me that I'm capable of change and can still be happy and healthy even if I'm not at my goal weight.
The thing that surprised me the most was becoming a morning person. I've always been a night owl and struggled with feeling rested in the morning. With Jillian's help, I've shifted that belief and started a new morning ritual that makes me excited to wake up and stay consistent with my workouts.
My favorite part of working with Jillian is that it all felt very natural and comfortable to discuss things I normally wouldn't talk about. It really helped knowing I have someone to hold me accountable to the goals I set and who would (lovingly) push me to "get curious" about the habits I was looking to change.”

"Before I started working with Jillian I was struggling with sustaining good habits, especially around exercise and mindset. Exercise was never a priority in the past, but after going through a significant surgery and health challenges I gained weight.
My biggest shift through our months of coaching was going from a victim mentality (from my surgery and health challenges) to empowerment. I finally feel like I have more control over my body and the choices I make for it. I’m really proud of my body image changing and feeling good about how I look.
One thing that surprised me the most were the affirmations she had me do, and how much they helped in combination with moving my body regularly now. I have more love for myself and my body that I didn’t have before."

"My clothes are starting to feel better, and it definitely feels like I've already lost 5% of my body weight. I'm starting to really feel good!"

“Before coaching with Jillian, I struggled with self confidence, negative self outlook, and was constantly striving for perfection. Feelings of negative self-image and second-guessing myself were holding me back, and I wanted to feel confident so I could handle all the changes and challenges that were coming my way.
The biggest change I've noticed since we started working together is in my confidence—I'm more confident in speaking up for myself, I feel more clarity about what I need, and I'm nowhere near as critical of myself. The accountability has helped keep me on track with my morning routine and learning to let go of everything needing to be "perfect".
This has been just what I needed over the last twelve weeks.
One thing I've loved about working with Jillian is her ability to listen, with complete openness and zero judgement. This has enabled us to explore a range of different areas of my life, and to help me work through challenges, some of which I wasn't aware needed addressing! Jillian has been consistent in being incredibly supportive, and I've really enjoyed the weekly new and engaging techniques, which have helped keep me motivated.”

“Before coaching with Jillian, I was struggling to get back into a healthy and consistent workout routine due to the aftermath of the pandemic. I had quit my gym membership and was unable to attend workout classes, which unfortunately resulted in a lack of motivation to workout at all. As time went on, anxiety, fear & negative self talk held me back from my desires. Meal planning had also become a struggle due to time management, which would often lead to ordering not-so-healthy takeout.
Overall I was lacking the clarity and consistency I desired in my daily routine, but through my sessions with Jillian, I was able to lay out actionable steps that helped me overcome the resistance I had developed internally to creating a healthier life for myself.
Jillian’s guides cover everything from mind, body and spirit. Everything from how to’s on meal planning, breathing techniques for stress management and digging deep to uncover WHY we truly want to achieve certain milestones. I learned how to reframe my thoughts of self judgement and approach situations with curiosity, which helped kick start my routines in a more positive way.
I am excited to take everything Jillian and I worked on together and continue applying it to my life. I do believe I can use the valuable tools she has given me moving forward, and I’m excited to see what’s to come! “

“Jillian has a genuine love to help others see what is possible for our own physical & mental well-being. It’s not a quick fix. It takes time & commitment. All of which Jillian is there each step of the way.
Today I feel incredible! No more insomnia! Completely reenergized as I start on my new career path setting up my Creative Studio.
I can honestly say without Jillian’s guidance I would probably be running in circles, burnt out & exhausted. Sometimes we all need somebody to lean on. Let that someone be Jillian.”

“Quarantine was a physical, mental, and emotional lockdown. Sharing a small apartment with my husband and living/working from my bed for several months, I shut down my body, mind, and spirit as a way of coping with pain and stress. With limited physical movement and fear-induced binging, I gained 25 pounds.
Working with Jillian helped me "clear the clutter"—the pain around my weight gain, fear of cooking, and to be present in my body again. She helped me set small realistic goals and gave me space and time to heal. I am so grateful for Jillian's genuine care, patience, and candor.
My favorite part of the experience was learning to love to cook. Since childhood, I have always had anxiety around cooking and the kitchen. I had tried books, apps, classes, plans, boxes but nothing stuck and I would always resort to processed unhealthy snacking and takeout. Jillian provided custom recipes that I loved and coached me through making them in my own home. For the first time, I felt I was making dishes that were nutritious and that I actually enjoyed. Since then I have hosted friends over and cooked for them with rave reviews!
Overall the Program for me was less about hitting a number on a scale but making space in my life to prioritize my well-being. With Jillian's coaching and support, I was able to move forward with a deeper love and respect for my mind and body as well as healthy tools and habits to maintain it.”

"My main goals at the beginning of this program were to create a better work/life balance and to feel more confident in myself—at work and in my day-to-day life. Throughout our sessions, Jillian helped me create small, manageable changes to my weekly routines.
She has also taught me how to set achievable and realistic action steps, which after just a few sessions in, I was already seeing improvements in my energy, mindset, and self-care.
One of the biggest takeaways from my sessions with Jillian has been to approach everything with curiosity, to ask myself “what if,” and doing so without judgment. Working through this program I have gained a great understanding of what serves me well, nourishes my life and how I can help approach the more challenging aspects positively to minimize my anxiety; relieving my body of any unnecessary stress I was putting on it.
Having the accountability of a coach has helped motivate me to follow through on my commitments and has taught me how to be kinder and create more time for myself while balancing my busy schedule. For this I am extremely grateful!"

"Before working with Jillian, I was not exercising regularly and my overall health was not in a great place. With various injuries and significant pain, it was hard to find workouts that I enjoyed and could be consistent with. My goals were weight loss and to begin a routine walking 2 miles 3x a week. This was important for me to get my health on track so I can be around for my family and grandchildren.
Through our coaching sessions together, I learned the importance of slowing down and how that shows up in my life. I've embraced a new perspective on exercise and moving my body. Halfway through the program, I had a "grocery store revelation"—without even realizing it at first, I noticed a big difference between what the new Linda was putting in her shopping cart vs. what the old Linda would have grabbed.
After doing this program, I've learned to delegate better and say "no" to things more so I don't get overwhelmed. I also lost over 15 lbs which was more than my goal! Having someone hold me accountable each week has made such a difference."

“Before coaching with Jillian, I struggled with overeating and lack of energy. I was going through a really stressful time in my life and through working with Jillian I realized I turned to food for comfort. I would eat when I was working, eat when I was tired, eat at night on the couch and have multiple servings at dinner, it was no wonder I felt lethargic.
Jillian taught me that I needed to slow down to be present not just with food (though that was a major breakthrough) but in life. I was constantly on the go and never stopped to 'smell the roses'.
Coaching with Jillian broke these habits—I am enjoying my food so much more, I have more energy, and I am less stressed and happier in life. Jillian taught me that what I'm eating is only part of the problem, it's also about who I am being when I eat.I loved how comfortable Jillian made me feel in our coaching sessions, she was always fun and optimistic offering different perspectives which was eye opening and transformational. It has made such a difference having Jillian as my coach, and I will continue to work with her as I can see the impact it is having in my life.”
